Programming II – for children aged 11 and over
WEEKLY COURSE 90 MINUTES EACH
java.script is the language of the Internet. To be able to program websites and games on the WEB, there is no way around this programming language. We have structured the learning process in a playful way and impart the relevant knowledge to children in a game-like environment. Our experienced trainer is of course always on hand! We are currently teaching Coffee.Script – this is a simplified Java.Script for children and young people to make it easier to learn the language.
Hybrid course
Level - beginner, advanced
This course is suitable for beginners as well as slightly advanced students. It is possible to work in teams of two or to work alone.
90 minutes per week, excluding public holidays
Currently the course always takes place on FRIDAYS from 5:00 pm to 6:30 pm, holidays and school vacations are paused.
Costs and duration
Monthly costs from € 99.99 including all necessary licenses (also for use outside course times at home), minimum contract period: 5 months, 1 month notice period
Presence or online course
The course takes place in our 3rd district. An ONLINE course is also planned from September 2022. This can then be visited ONLINE from home. A webcam and headset are required to participate in the online workshop.

Material used
We work with our own web server based on LINUX, as well as with #GBL (game based learning) platforms, where young people can learn the programming language in a playful way under supervision.

Why JAVA.SCRIPT?
java.script is a “real” programming language that can actually be used. No pure “teaching language”!
Many levels available
In each level of our “game”, tasks have to be solved. However, this is only possible by entering the correct programming!
Useful applications
In the course of web development, we create real programs that can then also be accessed by parents, friends and classmates.
Support from an experienced IT trainer
The students are always accompanied by an experienced trainer who is happy to provide advice and assistance as well as further explanations.
Kids write real java.script while playing games that encourage trial-and-error, critical thinking and creativity. The students then apply the programming skills they have learned by developing their own games and websites in project-based courses.
Each student can set their own pace – some are faster, some slower. That’s no problem here with us! We have prepared many different levels for java.script – there is something for everyone!

Please note that blocks of 5 or 10 are valid from the start date for the next consecutive units. This cannot be changed for organizational reasons. A place in the course with a laptop and the corresponding software license will then be provided!
