Playful beginners’ course for the little ones. We assemble a simple robot and control it with a tablet. Introduction to block-oriented programming languages on a laptop.

OBJECTIVES
Aims of the course & contents
Assemble a robot suitable for children
All children build a robot from individual parts and learn a block-based programming language in a playful way
Controlling the robot using a tablet
Small obstacles must be overcome
Introduction to block-based programming
write the first small program yourself
Create your own character
each child creates their own game character
Perform movements with the character
the created character is moved by programming
Create your own objects
own objects are created and integrated into the programming.
In this course, children learn to program their own very simple games. Mathematical skills are also trained automatically, logical and structured thinking is trained and initial computer skills are acquired.
We have prepared a variety of possible projects and create a new project with each child according to their age and previous knowledge.
Scratch JR was developed by M.I.T. specifically for learning programming skills for children and young people and is ideal for beginners to understand the basics.
We will also use small robots suitable for children to gain our first experience of how they can be controlled and programmed using simple programs!
